The absorption rate for the current operational programmes 2007-2013 is of 76.69% and the reimbursements from the European Commission are 71.76%, the Ministry for European Funds (MFE) informs on its website.
“Regarding the absorption stage, MFE traditionally uses in public communication the value and percentage of the current absorption rate. For example, the previous Government also used in reporting the current absorption rate (53.12% by March 31, 2015), not the effective rate (48.91%),” the statement reads.
