Dacia recalls 1,500 Logan and Sandero cars in service

Dacia, part of the French group Renault, is to recall in services in Romania 1,478 units of Logan II and Sandero II because of possible problems with the braking systems and the airbags, according to a release published on the website of the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC).

The first lot to be recalled consists of 754 units Dacia Logan II and Sandero II which may have trouble with the braking system. The cars will be checked in service and, if necessary, the company will replace the defective parts.

The operation is estimated to last 20-80 minutes, depending on the complexity.

The second lot consists of 724 Dacia Logan II, that might have trouble with the airbags. The company will check and replace the component parts with problems, if required. The operation is estimated to 50 minutes.

In addition, Renault is to recall a lot of 153 models Clio IV in Romania, who may have problems with the braking system.

Dacia was last year market leader in Romania for new cars with 27,597 units registered, approximately 29.1% of the total registrations of new cars, up by 2.8% against 2015.
