The deadline for submitting the additional documents to the employment contracts in Revisal system (General Wages Record Register) is extended until March 31, 2018, according to a Government Decision on Thursday.
Labour Minister Lia Olguta Vasilescu said the decision was drafted following talks with the business environment, given the context of shifting the social security contributions from employer to employee as of January 1, 2018, hotnews.ro informs.
“The decision is to support the employers, to have enough time to submit the new documents, given that in Revisal system are currently registered 6.3 million contracts for 5.5 million employees,” Vasilescu said.
“After March 31, the decision provides as a rule, the submitting in Revisal system of any modification of the gross wage, indemnity, bonuses or any other supplements to the labour contract or to the collective bargaining agreement, within 20 working days,” the Government release reads.
For new contracts, they have to be submitted to Revisal system one day before the employee starts working.
