‘Elvila’ furniture producer, owned by businessman Viorel Cataramă, is to be listed, as of Thursday, February 1, on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).
Elvila, a Romanian company founded in 1990, is one of the main brands in the field of furniture production and furniture sales in Romania, capital.ro informs.
Businessman Viorel Catarama ranks 169th in TOP 300 Capital ‘The Richest Romanians’, the 2017 edition, with a wealth estimated at EUR 33-35 million. In October 2017, the General Shareholders Meeting of Elvila decided to list the company on the alternative trading system of the BVB, AeRO. Cataramă said he does not intend to conduct an additional issue of shares, and the move is a purely technical one.
Moreover, according to the TOP 300, he explained that, as several minority shareholders said they are dissatisfied, this will be an opportunity for them to sell their shares.
