‘Farmec’ cosmetics manufacturer continues its expansion and modernization of the distribution network in the country. After opening a new store in Timisoara, the company announces the opening of a logistics centre for storage and distribution of products, which will serve Timis, Arad, Caras-Severin and Hunedoara counties, capital.ro reports.
It is located in Ghiroda locality, a place for storage facilities.
“The need for expansion has surfaced naturally, the proximity to customers and to partners has become a priority. We are aiming a rational development strategy with national coverage by identifying major transportation hubs and by analyzing the need to supply at regional and national level,” said Septimiu Maniu, Logistics Director of the company.
More than 400 products belonging to ‘Farmec’ company are sold in 24,000 stores and pharmacies in Romania. Traditional commerce has about 17,000 customers, but the online sales are also on the rise. ‘Farmec’ currently has 10 logistics facilities in several cities.
