BCR, the largest credit institution in Romania in terms of assets, wants to open 10 units per year in the coming years so as to expand the network from the 511 existing agencies, including units with digital concept.
A first digital agency was opened on Wednesday in Bucharest, Victoriei Square – eXperience BCR.
“We continue the optimization process, because we reorganized all small units and now we are in a solid process for large units,” Dana Demetrian, Vicepresident BCR for retail and private banking.
In the first digital agency, the clients have at their disposal, besides counselors, several MFPs.
After the agency’s program ends, the customers can benefit of a video – counselor, where he communicates with a bank adviser via a live video session, which enables the transmission of information and computational simulations live on the screen in front of the client in an interactive way.
BCR expects the digital transactions in the new agency to increase by 20-30 percent for both existing customers and others visiting the unit.
According to BCR officials, with the new concept of digital branch, the customers will save time that can be used to good counseling. The waiting time to desks will be reduced, customer’s banking experience will be optimized by accessing instant information.
