Half of the stock exchange indices in Romania have grown by more than 8% this year and BET, the index for the development of the most traded 13 companied on the regulated market on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) has grown by 8.49%, capital.ro informs.
The highest increase was registered by BET-NG, on the development of the companies listed on the regulated market in the field of energy and related units.
BET-BK, index as benchmark for fund administrators and other institutional investors, has grown by 6.69%, BET-XT (reflecting the development of prices for the most traded 25 companies on the BVB regulated market, including the financial investment companies – SIF) has grown by 7.83%, whereas BET-TR (reflecting the price development of component companies and their dividends) has grown by 8.54%.
The BETPlus Index, reflecting the development of companies listed on the BVB regulated market, which meet minimum criteria of selection in terms of liquidity and the value of shares in free float, with the exception of financial investment companies (SIF) has grown by 8.2%.
The smallest growth was registered by the BET-FI Index, reflecting the SIF development, of 6.18%.
This year, 41 trading sessions have taken place, with an overall transaction value of RON 2.64 billion, with an average value of RON 64.9 million.
