Intesa Sanpaolo Bank will close down 3 of the 7 branches in Bucharest

Intesa Sanpaolo Bank will close down in the first month of next year three of the seven branches in Bucharest, following the losses registered last year amounting to EUR 29 million.

By January 20 the bank will close down the branches in Calea Grivitei, Stirbei Voda and Calea Mosilor, capital.ro informs.

Last year Intesa Sanpaolo registered losses of EUR 29 million, however in Q1 2016 it registered a profit of EUR 3 million.

Intesa Sanpaolo group is present on the Romanian market since 2008 with Intesa Sanpaolo Romania, with a network of 45 units, more than 6,000 employees and total assets of more than RON 4 billion.
