Romanians who have taken loans from Volksbank will pay lower rates than now. Banca Transilvania, the new shareholder, decided to deduct the customers paid amounts as risk or administration fees, digi24.ro informs.
The decision is to be applied to all loans, regardless of the currency in which they were granted. Debt relief will be made automatically, by the end of next month.
The solution applies to loans in the portfolio of Volksbank Romania, active upon the transmission of VBRO briefings to the customers on how to implement it. From the amounts that will reduce total debt priority will be given to any arrears that customers have to Volksbank Romania on the date of implementing the solution.
This benefit does not apply to loans for which the Volksbank Romania customers have already obtained full restitution of the sums paid by them as risk fee/ management fee / or minimum reserves fee.
The overall debt relief for loans will be done automatically without additional effort required from customers. The clients who meet all the conditions to benefit from this solution will get details related in the near future in writing, by mail.
