Marius-Alin Barbu has been appointed on Wednesday as interim General Manager of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) by the BVB Board, according to information released on the website of the stock market operator.
“The Bucharest Stock Exchange informs that the Board of Directors, in its November 1, 2017 sitting, took note of the resignation of Ludwik Leszek Sobolewski from the position of General Manager of the company and has decided to appoint Marius-Alin Barbu, Deputy General Manager, as Interim Director General,” the document reads.
Another information shows that Radu Hanga has been validated as the administrator of the Bucharest Stock Exchange by the Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF).
According to an announcement by the stock market operator on October 27, Ludwik Sobolewski notified the Bucharest Stock Exchange about his resignation from the position of the company’s General Manager.
Ludwik Sobolewski notified the Bucharest Stock Exchange of his resignation as head of the institution, according to an announcement published on the website of the capital market operator last week. “Bucharest Stock Exchange S.A. hereby informs that, on October 27, 2017, it received from Mr. Ludwik Sobolewski his letter of resignation from all the duties as General Manager of the Company,” the document revealed at the time.
Ludwik Sobolewski was appointed CEO BVB in early July 2013 and took over the executive power nearly two months after the Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF) approval on August 21, 2013.
