The exchange rate between the national currency and the European currency has decreased on Monday to RON 4.7182 per EUR, down by 0.02% against the previous session, the figures from the National Bank of Romania (BNR) reveal on Monday. It is the highest level for the national currency since January 22, when the exchange rate was RON 4.7142 per EUR.
On Friday the exchange rate was RON 4.7182 per EUR.
The national currency has also appreciated against the Sterling Pound to RON 5.2999 per GBP, an exchange rate down from RON 5.3310 per GBP on Friday. It is the highest level for RON since January 17, 2019 (5.2962 units).
RON has also appreciated against the US Dollar to RON 4.1747 per USD, an exchange rate down from RON 4.1887 per USD in the previous session. It is the highest level for the national currency since March 1 (4.1707 units).
The RON/Swiss franc exchange rate stagnated at RON 4.21221 per CHF.
The gram of gold is down to RON 178.2726 against RON 179.6486 on Friday.
