The number of transactions on the Bucharest Stock exchange (BVB) increased by 9.93% in H1 2017 against the similar period last year, up to 548,708, whereas the overall value of the transactions increased by 37.17% to RON 6.697 billion, a report issued by the Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF) reads.
The report reads also that the value of transactions with shares represented 96.36% of the overall transacted value in the first half of 2017. Structured products transactions represented 2.23% of the overall transactions, with 87,346 transactions.
The total transacted value on BVB in Q2 2017 was by 33.73% higher against Q2 2016 and by 29.14% higher than in Q1 2017.
The highest value of transactions was registered in Q2 2015 – RON 4.42 billion in shares and bonds.
