Ukraine, Bulgaria agree to build road from Odessa to Varna, it will pass through the territory of Romania

Ukraine and Bulgaria agreed to intensify the construction of the road between the Odessa region, Reni and Varna through the territory of Romania, sivpost.com reports.

About it on the page in Facebook said the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko after talks with Prime Minister of Bulgaria Boyko Borisov, which took place on Saturday.

“Agreed to intensify construction of a road transport corridor between the Odessa region, Reni and Varna through the territory of Romania. We hope to attract material resources of the EU”, – wrote the President.

“We will do everything possible to run in a few hours easy drive from Odessa to Varna,” said Poroshenko.

As reported, the trade turnover between Ukraine and Bulgaria increased by 37% in the first quarter of 2018, compared to the same period of 2017, the same source informs.

According to some photos posted by the Ukrainian Presidency, the map show the road would pass from Odessa to Cetatea Alba/Bolhrad – Reni, Tulcea – Negru Voda – Varna.
