On-demand hiring app for seasonal jobs, now available in Romania

The companies operating in Romania can recruit employees for short shifts in order to cover their staff needs on short term, through a new service launched this month by BestJobs, the leading recruitment platform  on the Romanian job market.

The staffing service for short periods of time has been recently heralded on BestJobs blog.

Employers can now post classifieds for shifts of minimum 5 hours and maximum 5 days to cover their needs for staff on short term. They can ask for help for various fields, such as  merchandise delivery, or the seasonal work in restaurants and hotels,” the recruitment platform says.

In their turn, employees can try out several jobs and cut their dependence on a fixed working hour schedule. They can choose to apply both for working shifts to obtain extra income and also for long term jobs using the same recruitment platform.

All companies have to do is to post the available shift and to choose the place and the working hours of the job, while the job seekers in a certain area will get notifications about the available jobs and are checked by BestJob before taking over the shift.

Once the shift is accepted and covered, the pay is transferred to the employees’ bank account.

The shifts’ payment is done through BestJobs credits, for a minimum price of 3 credits per hour.

This system of staffing service has become famous worldwide through Forge, a start-up recently launched by an US female young entrepreneur Stacey Ferreira, which is an on-demand labor app that allows individuals to select their own work hours at participating retailers/restaurants in their geographical area.
