In the past five years, more than 100,000 companies, especially with Romanian capital, were shut down, 450,000 people becoming unemployed. Of these, about 380,000 (according National Institute of Statistics – INS) were forced to go abroad, according to data provided by representatives of employers in business environment, capital.ro informs.
In this context, given the new Government and new Parliament installing, the local business environment calls for consideration of the current situation in order to establish urgent measures on: urgent promoting of prevention Law; changing the tax code so that the target of any body control to lead to injury recovery and the right of any company to defend themselves; promoting the magistrates’ accountability law, interference and abuse being eliminated; the existence of a direct communication channel between the political environment and the private sector; the establishment of a National Agency for the protection and guidance of national brands.
According to business representatives, all these measures target a correct approach, assuming an effective role in developing the national economy, but also new opportunities for the next generation.
Moreover, they require an urgent meeting with the new majority, Prime Minister and ministers to discuss about the implementation of the Gov’t Programme and other business problems.
