After he sold Praktiker, Turkish businessman Omer Susli, will open a new Home&Deco retail chain in Romania as of next month, under the brand of Homelux, Profit.ro reported.
The first two new stores will be opened in Ploiesti, on an area of 10,000sqm and after that in Focsani, in a 6,500-sqm location. An online store will be also opened at the same time. Ploiesti and Focsani are among the cities where Praktiker had closed down the stores in a move when Brico Depot starts a rebranding process of the Praktiker stores in its portfolio.
Omer Susli sold Praktiker to UK group Kingfisher in the summer of 2017, after it had bought the Praktiker stores from the German network in February 2014.
