Realworld Systems, one of the players in the local market of automation and software integration solutions in the GIS (Geographic Information System) area, announces the acquisition of a majority stake of 75% in the American company Field Consulting and Services, Inc. (FCSI), a recognized provider of customized solutions for the Smallworld platform, serving telecommunications and electricity operators in the United States of America.
This transaction marks an important step in Realworld Systems’ strategy to expand its presence in the US market, with the group estimating that the new subsidiary will generate at least 10% of total revenues next year.
“The acquisition of FCSI is a first step of an extraordinary size in the development of Realworld Systems, and the fact that we can build on the solid foundation already created by Mark Field and his team ensures a natural continuity, but amplified by our resources and expertise at the global level. At Realworld Systems, we focus on people, and one of the factors that motivated this acquisition was the very human quality of FCSI’s management. We are looking to gradually build on the US market, where we believe we will bring added value through our integration, operational intelligence and automation solutions,” said Bogdan Hebean, CEO of Realworld Systems.
The transaction will be completed by the end of 2024, after the completion of the already initiated due diligence process, during which the foundations of an intellectual property integration plan will also be laid, as part of the acquisition.
“We are excited to join Realworld Systems and become part of a global team of dedicated professionals. I know that this transition will attract new opportunities for FCSI, so I am confident that we can bring to the table common efforts and perspectives aimed at the evolution of both companies”, added Mark Field, Partner Developer at Field Consulting & Services, Inc. Realworld Systems will continue its expansion strategy on international markets in the coming period, with the aim of strengthening its global presence.
In this sense, the solution integrator is already in discussions for a new acquisition that will bring a significant contribution to the group’s operations, Bogdan Hebean pointed out.
