Romanian managers estimate, for the period May – July 2025, an increase in prices in the manufacturing, construction and services industries, a moderate increase in economic activity in the manufacturing and services industries, as well as a moderate increase in the number of employees in construction and retail trade, according to data published on Wednesday by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
Manufacturing
According to the business tendency survey of May 2025, managers from the manufacturing industry forecast a moderate growth of the production volume for the next three months (balance +9%). Regarding the number of employees, a relative stability is estimated, the balance being -4%. For the prices of industrial products, a growth is forecasted for the next three months (balance +30%).
