The National Company of Motorways and National Roads (CNADNR) named a Romanian-Spanish joint venture – Corsan SA, Corviam Construccion SA, Consinit SRL, Road Consulting & Design Solution SRL and Via Design SRL – the winner of the tender for the construction of Suplacu de Barcau – Bors section, part of Transylvania Motorway.
According to a press release, the contract value for the 60-km length of the section is RON 701 million, excluding VAT.
The contract has an estimated duration of 24 months, plus an additional warranty period of 30 months.
Half of this 3C section of Brasov -Targu Mures – Cluj – Oradea highway, between Suplacu de Barcau and Bors was done by American company Bechtel.
