Austria-based home furnishings retailer kika kept its promise that will open the second store in Romania until the end of the year.
Thus, according to a press release, kika officials just announced that will launch the second unit on domestic market on December 27, Pallady area, Bucharest, a press release informs.
The investment of kika Pallady reaches EUR 14 million.
kika’s new store, set up in the former OBI store, will cover an area of 12,000 sqm including warehouse and parking, providing 80 new jobs in Romania.
The works at the new store, meaning the refurbishment and arrangement of the purchased space, began in September this year. The inauguration of the kika Pallady store comes nine years after the retailer’s entry on the Romanian market, with the establishment of the first store in the Militari area.
The store’s program will be Monday to Saturday between 10 AM and 9 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 8 PM, the same as the kika Militari store.
