Greek-based SoftOne Technologies, one of the top providers of business solutions (ERP, CRM and BI) in South Eastern Europe continues its expansion plans in Romania. By the end of this year, the company aims to increase the partner network in Cluj county, an area considered Romania’s Silicon Valley. Thus, according to a press release, the IT provider plans to attract at least 10 new partners in Western part of the country by year-end.
In this respect, SoftOne Romania recently held an event in Cluj-Napoca city dedicated to actual and potential partners, focusing on informing the companies about the many benefits of Cloud ERP solutions, for their specific activities.
A fast-moving to mobile world and to Cloud solutions is identified; they will become the most important factor in the development of ERP applications in the next 5 years, according to Greek company officials. “SoftOne Romania has a strategic importance in Southeast Europe for SoftOne Technologies”, Haris Zachariades, CEO of Romanian subsidiary.
SoftOne announced that aims to double its partners network in 2015, in order to be present in all Romanian counties. Furthermore, SoftOne Romania representatives are targeting to increase their client portfolio by the end of 2015, from 130 to over 250 and to double its partners network by the end of 2015 to 40, one in each county.
In 2014, SoftOne Romania doubled the number of its clients and partners and invested EUR 1.5 million in product management, developing the partners network, training, marketing and sales. SoftOne Romania registered a EUR 1.5 million turnover together with its partners in the company’s first operational year on the local market.
Haris Zachariades, CEO SoftOne Romania, said recently in an interview for Romania Journal that the increased demand for company’s products and services, resulted in setting up a subsidiary in Romania.
“For the exact reason we decided to open an office in Cluj-Napoca in the near future: our clients are interested for the full circle of solutions and services offered by SoftOne. We believe that Romania is an extremely interesting market, particularly for the type of technology provided by SoftOne. It has a highly trained and qualified workforce and a excellent telecommunications infrastructure thus we believe it is the epicenter for development in Southeastern Europe,” Zachariades pointed out.
