STRABAG Selected as General Contractor for The ARC, Bucharest’s New Landmark Office Building

STRABAG Romania announced that it has been selected by the developer and investor PPF Real Estate as the general contractor for the construction of its new state-of-the-art office building, “The ARC”.  This new landmark development will bring a modern ten-story Class A office building to the 6th District of Bucharest, setting new standards for office spaces in the area.

The ARC will offer 30,000 square meters of premium office space, strategically located near the Basarab metro station, in one of Bucharest’s rapidly expanding commercial districts. Positioned at the western end of the extended city center, The ARC is set to become a key asset in an area that is fast emerging as a core business hub for the city. Construction is scheduled for completion in 2026.

The ARC will not only provide outstanding office space but also a range of modern amenities, including underground parking for over 300 vehicles, charging stations for electric cars, facilities for cyclists, and ample storage space. Additionally, the building will feature its own recreational garden, offering a green oasis in the heart of the city for tenants and visitors alike.

Accessibility is a key feature of the project. Located in a commercially developed area with excellent transport connections, the office complex will offer easy access to metro, tram, and train services. Looking ahead, plans are in place for a direct train link to the international airport, with a terminal located conveniently close to the future office complex, further enhancing connectivity for businesses.
