Group West Motors, the integrated BMW center in Satu Mare, is expanding with a new project in Baia Mare, an area that was not represented until now for the brand’s customers. The project in Baia Mare complements the investment of approximately two million euros in the Group West Motors MM multi-brand center with a dedicated space for BMW. The new center provides BMW sales and service operations, creating 10 jobs, a showroom built to the brand’s latest standards, as well as four workstations for mechanics, including those for electric vehicles.
According to BMW Romania officials, the transformation of the showroom is supported by a new design philosophy that transitions from a linear presentation of cars to a space that puts the customer at the center. An important aspect is the connection between the digital and real world, combining Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) solutions with quality displays and potentially even using virtual reality systems in the future.
“We work locally with local heroes. In Group West Motors, we have a valuable partner who has ended the last few years with a consistent growth of over 30%. Now, the team in northern Romania is taking an important step of expansion and has the opportunity to be the first to pave the way for a new brand presentation philosophy. More digital, more flexible, closer to the customer,” said Josef Reiter, the General Manager of BMW Group Romania.
“It is a new standard of brand presentation to Romania for the first time. It’s not just about being digital and modern; I would also like to talk about history. Those who know us are aware of our passion for vintage cars and the fact that in our service workshop, we restore historically valuable cars, a proof of our passion and quality,” Áron Márton, the director of Group West Motors said in his turn, according to economica.net.
