Uber marks 1 year of presence in Cluj

One year since starting operations in Cluj Napoca, US ridesharing service Uber boasts with tens of thousands of people that have used the service, including 25,000 tourists from over 75 countries, as a press release informs. UK tourists rank first among the foreigners who used Uber in Cluj, followed by those from US and France.

After one year, a car reaches users on average in four minutes, compared to over 10 minutes in August, 2016.

Moreover, at the 2017 edition of UNTOLD, the largest music festival in Europe, the demand was more than 10 times higher than in 2016. About 1 in 3 festival participants used the service, whether they personally ordered Uber or shared the race with more friends.

The user with the most rides during the festival used Uber for 15 times, and the longest ride was 36 kilometers.
