There is now news that the competition on domestic telecommunication market is tough. Vodafone came today to announce in a press conference that, according to the major external auditor in Europe, P3 communications, its Romanian subsidiary has been certified with the best scores for data and telephony, after measurements on all domestic mobile networks.
“Ever since the launch of Supernet™ 4G we have seen the data traffic constantly rise, while our constant expansion of the 4G network led to a substantial increase in both 4G data usage and number of 4G customers,” Andrea Rossini, Director, Consumer Business Unit Vodafone Romania argues.
Vodafone Romania, compared to other Romanian networks, the measurement shows that Vodafone Romania’s network was “Best in Test” for both Telephony and Data services in the Mobile Benchmark Romania test conducted by the independent auditor P3 communications.
Following Vodafone Romania’s Supernet™ 4G developments and 4G network enhancements, its customers can now enjoy the best voice and data experience, over its 2G, 3G and 4G network.

The test methodology as well as all drive routes and stationary locations have been chosen independently by P3 communications. The auditor did these tests on its own initiative and all mobile operators have known about these tests and the period in which they were running. Vodafone officials said they have not paid anything for this certification.
According to P3 tests, the Vodafone’s average download speed was 43 Mbps in the analyzed period, while the competing networks the mobile internet download speed was 41 Mbps, respectively 28 Mbps. As regards the upload segment, Vodafone’s average speed was 34 Mbps, while the networks of rivals was 27 Mbps and 8 Mbps, Giovanni Chiarelli, Chief Technology Officer, Vodafone Romania said
