Vodafone Romania, number two on the local telecom market, recorded a revenue growth in the third quarter, capital.ro informs.
Vodafone Romania registered a total of 9,053,810 customers on September 30, 2015, up by 546,371 against the same period last year. Of the total number of customers 8,432,970 are users of mobile services.
Service revenues for the quarter ended on September 30 has reached EUR 172.9 million, up by 4.0% against the same period last year in organic terms.
On September 30, 2015 Vodafone subscribers represented 40.7% of the customer base, while the prepaid Vodafone service 59.3%. The number of prepaid service users increased by 0.8 percentage points as compared to the same period last year.
