In August 2022, the volume of construction works increased, as gross series, by 8.0% compared to July 2022 and was up 2.5% as adjusted series according to the number of working days and to seasonality, according to the latest report by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
In August 2022, the volume of construction works rose, as gross series, by 15.7% compared to August 2021 and was up 15.6% as adjusted series according to the number of working days and to seasonality.
In the past eight months of 2022, the volume of construction works increased, as gross series, by 6.6% compared to the same time frame of 2021 and was up 4.5% as adjusted series according to the number of working days and to seasonality.
August 2022 compared to July 2022
The volume of construction works increased, as gross series, by 8.0%, an increase reflected in capital repair works (+23.1%), in maintenance and current repair works (+10.8%) and in new construction works (+4.8%).
By construction objects, rises were reported for non–residential buildings (+10.4%), for engineering works (+10.3%) and for residential buildings (+1.2%).
The volume of construction works rose, as adjusted series according to the number of working days and to seasonality, by 2.5%, a rise reflected in capital repair works (+9.0%) and in maintenance and current repair works (+6.5%). The new construction works dropped 1.2%.
By construction objects, the volume of construction works increased for non–residential buildings (+6.8%) and for engineering works (+3.9%). The residential buildings were down 1.6%.
August 2022 compared to August 2021
The volume of construction works increased, as gross series, by 15.7%, an increase reflected in capital repair works (+36.9%), in maintenance and current repair works (+31.9%) and in new construction works (+8.0%).
By construction objects, rises were reported for engineering works (+23.4%) and for non–residential buildings (+21.1%). The residential buildings dropped 1.3%.
The volume of construction works increased overall, as adjusted series according to the number of working days and to seasonality, by 15.6%. By structure elements, rises were recorded for capital repair works (+34.3%), for maintenance and current repair works (+32.3%) and for new construction works (+8.9%).
By construction objects, the volume of construction works rose for engineering works (+21.7%) and for non–residential buildings (+21.5%). The residential buildings were down 1.2%.
