Wizz Air resumes flights to Tel Aviv from Bucharest and Iași

Wizz Air, the low-cost airline, will resume operations to Tel Aviv from Bucharest on January 15th and from Iasi on March 25th.

From Bucharest, the flights will be operated five times per week, and then double daily starting in April.

From Iasi, flights will operate two times per week.

Air carrier Wizz Air announced today that it is suspending its flights to and from Tel Aviv Airport, Israel, due to the conflict in the area.

“Due to the current situation in the region, Wizz Air will temporarily suspend flights to and from Tel Aviv until January 14, 2025 inclusive. Wizz Air regrets the inconvenience caused to customers due to these extraordinary circumstances, which are beyond the airline’s control, and offers affected passengers the possibility of a full refund in WIZZ credits or the original form of payment, as well as free flight rescheduling options,” the Hungarian airline announced on October 15, 2024.
