Zitec, IT leader in Romania, specialized in developing customized software solutions and services, has concluded 2018 with revenues of over EUR 6 million, up by 22% as the previous year. For 2019, the company plans to develop the recent partnerships in the RPA (robotic process automation) and IoT (Internet of Things) sectors, to increase its activity on the UK and US markets and to launch Mirro.io, a new Zitecproduct, in the first half of the year.
Zitec has international tenders in early 2018 and has also obtained non-refundable financing, thus developing new projects for the European Space Agency and National Health Service Scotland, but also projects in the medical imaging technology and the first European project to make a blockchain curriculum for teachers and entrepreneurs, BLOCKS.
After the success registered by Regista.ro, a complete application of electronic registry, currently used in over 200 city halls in 37 counties, Zitec is developing a new own product, Mirro.io, which addresses the organisations that are investing in personal development within a business. Mirro is a private beta testing SaaS (Software as a Service) that will be launched in the first half of 2019.
„The year 2018 was a hard working year for us, when we focused our energies on several plans, with very good results (…) We aim an increase of our revenues in 2019 both by a turnover increase on services but also on products and by obtaining European grants,” said Alexandru Lăpușan, CEO and co-founder Zitec.
One of the challenges of 2018 for Zitec was also the relocation to a new HQ, in Timpuri Noi Square office building. Read more here.
