If elections for Bucharest City Hall were held next Sunday 42% of Bucharesters would elect the PSD-UNPR-PC alliance candidate, while 37% would vote for the Liberal candidate, shows a sociological research carried out in Bucharest during June 2-15 by the group of socio-behavioural studies ‘Avangarde’, according to Agerpres.
On the third place it would be at par the Liberal Reform Party (PLR) and the M10 Party candidates with 5% of the options, followed by PRM and PMP candidates with 3% and those of PPDD and PN?CD with 2%.
In terms of district municipalities, Bucharest residents are 40% satisfied of District 1 city hall’s activity, 32% are satisfied of the activity of District 2 city hall, 46% are satisfied of the District 3 city hall’s activity, 49% are satisfied of the District 4 city hall’s activity and only 5% are satisfied of the District 5 city hall’s activity and 15% of the Municipality of District 6.

Three quarters of Bucharesters (76%) are dissatisfied and very dissatisfied with the current political class, the same poll shows.
According to the survey, only 17% of the inhabitants of the capital are satisfied and very satisfied with the political class, while 7% cannot appreciate or do not respond on this issue.
President Klaus Iohannis leads in the top of Bucharesters’ confidence in politicians with 65%, followed by Sorin Oprescu – 47%, Ecaterina Andronescu – 44%, Victor Ponta – 39%, Calin Popescu Tariceanu – 38%, Monica Macovei – 28%, Ludovic Orban – 22%, Alina Gorghiu – 20%, Traian B?sescu – 17% and Teodor Atanasiu – 14%.
The survey was conducted on a sample of 1,400 people over 18, by the method of face-to-face interview with the respondent at his residence. The sample is representative of the non-institutionalized adult population of Bucharest and the MPE is plus / minus 2.62% for a 95% confidence interval.
