British Secretary of State for Foreign & Commonwealth Affairs Boris Johnson will pay a visit to Bucharest on Monday to meet Foreign Minister Teodor Melescanu.
“The meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs Teodor Melescanu and the British Secretary of State for Foreign & Commonwealth Affairs Boris Johnson will take place in Bucharest,” a Foreign Ministry release informs, according to stirileprotv.ro.
The talks could focus on bilateral cooperation and on the situation of Romanian citizens in the UK.
On the occasion of the meeting in April between the two officials, on the sidelines of the Foreign Affairs Council, Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson expressed appreciation for the contribution of the Romanian community to the development of the British society and offered assurance that the rights of the Romanian citizens will be observed.
