British PM David Cameron will pay an official visit to Romania on Wednesday and he is to meet President Klaus Iohannis and PM Dacian Cioloș, official sources told local news agencies.
Cameron is to meet Iohannis at Cotroceni Palace, but for now no official press statements have been scheduled.
The British premier will also go to Victoria Palace to talk to his Romanian counterpart, Dacian Cioloș. According to the above-mentioned sources, their meeting would tackle the immigrants’ crisis.
While in Parliament on Tuesday, PM Dacian Cioloș said that he would talk with David Cameron about the in-out referendum on Great Britain‘s membership of the European Union, a topic that will also be approached by the upcoming European Council in Brussels.
The UK prime minister’s official visit takes place shortly before the winter European Council, due in Brussels during December 17-18, when the refugees’ topic is high on the agenda. David Cameron also paid a visit to Bulgaria last week.
