Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov has made ironic comments regarding the ‘Romanian model’, which should finally start working, as he referred to the frequent change of governments in Bucharest and to the arresting of officials.
During a business meeting organised by ‘Capital’ Bulgaria, Borisov said: “I really want to start the third bridge over the Danube, but the Romanian model must finally start working.” The Bulgarian head of Government joked about the frequent change of government in Bucharest.
In his typical style, he said: “We negotiate and reach a deal and after a few months they are remanded, one by one, one by one,” capital.bg reports.
PM Boyko Borisov reminded that there was already a meeting on the subject in October 2017 in Varna, but now “we have to organise other meetings”.
