CURS poll: Who’s credited to enter presidential runoffs?

According to a CURS survey carried out between October 30 and November 5, Marcel Ciolacu is rated with 28%, followed by George Simion and Nicolae Ciucă, both with 17 percent.

The three are followed by Elena Lasconi (USR) with 12% and the independent Mircea Geoană, credited with only 9% – one of the lowest scores with which he appeared in recent polls. Then appears Kelemen Hunor, with 5%, Cristian Diaconescu, with the same score, Cristian Terheș with 4% and Ludovic Orban with only 2 percent.

 

Asked what they consider when voting a presidential candidate, most respondents replied education. The obtained achievements are preferred secondly and career comes third. The party county only for 16% and the family for 7%.
Runoffs
Asked who they think will enter the runoffs, 49% said Marcel Ciolacu, 17% Nicolae Ciuca, 13% George Simion, Elena Lasconi – 8%, Mircea Geoană – 7%.

Parliamentary elections

In terms of parliamentary elections, PSD would get 32%, PNL – 20%, AUR – 15%, USR – 12%, SOS Romania (Diana Șoșoacă’s party) – 6%, and UDMR – 5%.

The survey was carried out on a sample of 1,067 people, through face-to-face questionnaires and has a margin of error of +-3% at a confidence level of 95%.
