Senate Foreign policy committee chairman: A different typology than the one we were used to

The Chairman of the Foreign Policy Committee with the Senate, Petru Filip, believes Republican Donald Trump has a different typology as politician for the European chancelleries, being an unpredictable person.

“The Romanian and European politics are used to predictable politicians. Donald Trump is not a predictable person, as far as we know him as politician and from the electoral campaign, being a player in the business world.”

Filip says the European chancelleries are pending, this shows things are not clear even for them.

“It’s hard to say what follows next, he’s had a formal speech and without saying anything about the future of the US policy towards the other partners.

“Romania should evaluate the connections with the Republican area and the Democratic area in the future Congress, in the Senate and to develop the strategic partnership. It’s the moment for the parties, for individuals to get involved directly with American policy, to activate and get involved in supporting the building of the Romanian security, currently ongoing with NATO and the US,” Filip said.
