PSD chairman Liviu Dragnea has warned the Liberals that he could let his men from the party „who are very angry” to organise a counter protest on the day the National Liberal Party is holding an electoral rally in Iasi, eastern Romania. The PNL rally, due on May 11, will be also attended by President Klaus Iohannis.
Referring to the fact that a protest has been announced in Iasi on May 9, the precise day when a Social Democrat meeting is scheduled, Dragnea said „It’s very good, it means that counter protests could be organised on Saturday, May 11. Iohannis and his servants should not think that only them have the right to shout and cry. We can also allow our men, who are every angry, to have a counter protest”.
Also asked if PM Dancila will attend the PSD rally in Iasi, Dragnea replied: „The meeting will be held even if the prime minister is not coming, we have this capacity”.
