Dragnea’s allegation on murder attempt: Sweden Embassy in Bucharest’s meaningful Facebook post

Reactions to PSD chairman Liviu Dragnea’s allegation that a murder was attempted against him last year, kept on coming.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, the Swedish Embassy in Bucharest, recounts a short story in the Sweden’s history about King Gustav III and an assassination attempt against him.

Five conspirators and an assassination attempt at the opera.

Yes, it happened on the 16th of March 1792 at a masquerade ball at the Royal Opera of Stockholm, organised by the Swedish king Gustav III. Shortly after entering the ball, Gustav III was surrounded by 5 members of the aristocracy and shot, and the Swedish king died a couple of days later as a result of the wounds.

The story of the Swedish king Gustav III is one of the most interesting in Swedish royal history. The legacy of Gustav III is strong even today, specially in form of several important buildings and institutions in Sweden such as the Swedish Academy, Royal Theatre, the Royal Opera House and the Royal Ballet,” reads the embassy’s post, quoting http://www.unofficialroyalty.com/king-gustav-iii-of-sweden/.
