Former Health minister in the Ciolos Government, Vlad Voiculescu, has announced during a radio show at Rock FM on Friday that he would run for the local elections in 2020.
“Yes, at this moment I am quite irritated. I will do my best,” Vlad Voiculescu told the host, Razvan Exarhu in the “Morning Glory” radio show.
35-year-old Vlad Voiculescu, has initiated the “cytostatic drugs network” consisting in volunteers who had transported essential drugs for the cancer’s treatment from abroad to Romania for many years, without asking for any financial benefits. The cytostatic drugs brought from abroad could not be found in the Romanian hospital and drugstores.
Voiculescu is also involved in several social healthcare projects, being the initiator of MagiCAMP and was vice-president and treasurer of the European Cancer Patient Coalition.
An economist by profession with a 10-year experience in the financial sector, Voiculescu has lived in Vienna for 14 years where he had graduated the faculty and a master degree at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.
The last position held before coming to Romania was vice-president within the Finances Infrastructure Division of the Erste Group Bank AG.
