The joint Parliament plenum has approved on Tuesday, by 270 voted for ans 117 against, the appointment of former Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu as head of the National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications (ANCOM).
Two weeks ago, Grindeanu received favourable opinions from the Senate committee for Economics and from the chamber of deputies’ committee for IT.
PM Mihai Tudose sent to Parliament the proposal that the former PM Sorin Grindeanu should take over the position of ANCOM president on October 23.
Previously, Adrian Dita, president of the National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications had submitted his resignation.
The joint standing bureaus of the two chambers of the Parliament took note of Dita’s resignation and decided that the special parliamentary committee to hear Sorin Grindeanu on October 26.
