According to a survey carried out by INSCOP that measures the intention to vote for the presidential elections, the current deputy general secretary of NATO, Mircea Geoană, would win the first round of the presidential elections, followed by Marcel Ciolacu and George Simion.

The survey, carried out between February 14 and March 5, measures the main candidates for this year’s presidential elections, as well as the opinion of political figures.
