Prime Minister Viorica Dăncilă had a phone conversation on Wednesday with President Klaus Iohannis on the appointment of new ministers of Interior and Foreign Affairs and of the Deputy Prime Minister for Strategic Partnerships, government sources say.
The quoted sources say that Iohannis has told Viorica Dăncilă that he would announce her when the decision is made regarding the reshuffle proposed by the Government.
On Monday, following the PSD and ALDE leadership meetings, it was decided to replace Minister of Internal Affairs Carmen Dan and Foreign Minister Teodor Melescanu, for the two portfolios being validated as proposals Senator Nicolae Moga and former MEP Ramona Manescu.
At the same time, Senator Mihai Fifor was approved in PSD Executive Committee to serve as Deputy Prime Minister for Strategic Partnerships.
The proposals were sent to President Klaus Iohannis on Tuesday, who has 10 days to make a decision.
