Journalist, appointed adviser with the PM’s chancellery

Journalist Liviu Iolu was appointed state adviser with the PM Dacian Ciolos’s chancellery, currently working as editorialist with ‘Adevarul’ newspaper.
Iolu worked during March-April 2012 as Labour Ministry spokesman in the Razvan Ungureanu cabinet. He is editorialist with ‘Adevarul’ newspaper since September 2012 and coordinator of Adevarul Live online TV.
Iolu graduated the faculty of Journalism in Iasi (north-eastern Romania) and had worked with TVR Iasi.

He also reported for ‘Evenimentul zilei’ newspaper and has occasionally published in ‘Dilema veche’ magazine.

The journalist has receieved several prizes for features and journalistic eloquence during his career, granted by the Romanian Press Group (CRP), Freedom House or World Vision.

In 2008 Iolu was awarded the CRP’S big prize for printed media for his articles from the series “Arrestd by allies”
