Journalist to be named Romania’s ambassador to France

Journalist Luca Niculescu will be appointed Romania’s ambassador to France, the Presidential Administration informed on Sunday. President Iohannis will sign the decree naming Niculescu ambassador in Paris this week.

Luca Niculescu was born in 1971. He is a Journalism graduate and holds a master’s degree in European Journalism from the University Center for Journalism Studies in Strasbourg. Niculescu is a journalist for Radio France Internationale since 1992 and since 2000 an editor-in-chief at Radio France Internationale Romania. Niculescu was a correspondent for France Info, France Inter, France Culture, TV 5 and “Liberation”. The journalist is TV show moderator at  Digi 24 private broadcaster and has previously presented shows at Money Channel and public broadcaster TVR.
