Maia Sandu is coming to Romania, to be awarded in Timisoara

The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, is coming to Romania on Saturday, where she will meet the Custodian of the Romanian Crown, Princess Margareta, at the Săvârșin castle. Maia Sandu will have lunch with Margareta and visit the Royal Automobile Museum with her hosts. The President of the Republic of Moldova will also be in Romania to receive the “Timișoara For European Values” award.

“Her Excellency Mrs. Maia Sandu, President of the Republic of Moldova, will be the guest of Her Majesty Margareta Custodian of the Crown at the Săvârşin Royal Castle, on Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 2 p.m. Her Majesty Margareta and His Royal Highness Prince Radu will welcome Her Excellency Mrs. President Maia Sandu in the Royal Village, at 2 p.m. Then, the distinguished guest will be invited to lunch in the Săvârşin Royal Castle. After lunch, the President of the Republic of Moldova will visit the Royal Park and the Royal Automobile Museum with His Majesty and His Royal Highness”, announces the Secretariat of the Royal House. The visit to Săvârşin will end around 4 p.m.

The President of the Republic of Moldova will be in Romania to receive the “Timişoara For European Values” award, the ceremony being scheduled at 11:00 a.m., at the Timiş Cinema.

“The President of the Republic of Moldova is the first laureate of the highest award instituted this year by the Municipality of Timisoara. On this occasion, His Majesty will be present in Timişoara for the ceremony on January 13 and will give a speech about Europe and the values that define us”, the Timişoara City Hall reported.

The “Timişoara For European Values” award honors internationally recognized personalities who, with determination, courage and creativity, promote or defend European values inside and outside the European Union.

    Margareta Habsburg or whatever her name is, should not make Foreign Policy on behalf or Romania. We have a Presidential Democracy and the President acts in this field. She should go just go to church and pray for the next revolution if any!
