PSD and ALDE are preparing the second reshuffle of the Sorin Grindeanu government, after the one when Daniel Constantin was ousted from the cabinet. According to political sources, the coalition is discussing the possible replacement of Pavel Nastase (Education Minister), Gabriel Les (Defence Minister) and Toma Petcu (Energy Minister), but other names may be included on the list as well, hotnews.ro informs.
The information on Gabriel Les’s reshuffle was also published by Q Magazine, in an article written by Floriana Jucan during the visit paid by Minister Les along with Premier Grindeanu in Israel. Jucan wrote that PM Grindeanu allegedly is not pleased by Les’s performance, reproaching him that he did not spend the RON 1.5 billion from the state budget for the Army’s endowment.
On the other hand, Digi 24 TV announces five ministers reportedly to be replaced, including Sevil Shhaideh, Lia Olguta Vasilescu and Tudorel Toader. Nevertheless, hotnews.ro claims Justice Minister Tudorel Toader, criticized by Dragnea for not replacing Laura Codruta Kovesi, head of the National Anticorruption Directorate, after the critical report on the DNA, will not appear on the list of reshuffles.
