An ‘Avangarde’ opinion poll reveals that voting intentions are targeting the Social-Democratic Party (PSD) – 41%, followed by the National Liberal Party (PNL) – 30% and ALDE – 7%, PMP – 6%, UDMR 5% and USR – 5%, ziare.com reports.
In terms of confidence the rankings are dominated by Gabriela Firea – 42%, followed by Victor Ponta – 41%, Calin Popescu Tariceanu – 40%, Klaus Iohannis – 38%, Dacian Ciolos – 37%, Liviu Dragnea – 34%, Traian Basescu – 28%, Vasile Blaga – 22% and Alina Gorghiu – 20%.
‘Avangarde’ director Marius Pieleanu told Antena 3 TV on Sunday evening that PM Ciolos is on an upward trend, from 20% to 37%. He claimed that if Ciolos would join USR, the party could reach two digit popularity before the general elections this autumn.
Referring to Gabriela Firea, the ‘Avangarde’ head said she is PSD’s most important political character in the past ten years.
