President Klaus Iohannis appointed Ovidiu Raeţchi ambassador of Romania to Japan, with residence in Tokyo, the Presidential Administration announces in a press release.
Former PNL deputy, Ovidiu Raețchi is currently the president of the Euro-Atlantic Center for Resilience.
Ovidiu Raețchi was a PNL deputy between 2012 and 2020, and is currently the president of the Euro-Atlantic Center for Resilience, a center of excellence in the field of resilience, a partner of NATO and the EU, which acts for the benefit of these organizations, as well as the member states or partners, according to the organization’s website.
Klaus Iohannis also signed a decree regarding the accreditation of Gențiana Șerbu, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Romania in the Republic of Kenya and the representative of Romania to UNON, UNEP and UN-HABITAT, in the Republic of Burundi, in the Republic of Uganda and in the Republic of Rwanda , and as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Romania in the United Republic of Tanzania, with residence in Nairobi.
