PM Dancila to pay visits to Bulgaria, Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman

Prime Minister Viorica Dancila has announced on Wednesday she will pay visits abroad as of November 2.

On November 2 she will attend a meeting Romania-Bulgaria-Greece-Serbia in Varna, which is to be attended also by Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu.

“On the sidelines of the meeting in Varna, Israeli Prime Minister has been invited to attend a working lunch organized by the Bulgarian hosts. The meeting in Varna will occasion the continuation of debates on interconnection in the region, with focus laid on transportation, energy and telecommunication,” Premier Dancila said at the beginning of the Government sitting on Wednesday.

During November 2-8, the Romanian head of Government will pay visits to the Sultanate of Oman and to Qatar.

“On this occasion, we will inaugurate the Romanian Embassy in the Sultanate of Oman and the Honorary Consulate of Romania. The visit to Doha represents the second contact between a Romanian Prime Minister and the counterpart in Qatar since the establishment of diplomatic relations on October 22. 1990. Besides the high level meeting, we also aim the consolidation of the diplomatic and economic bilateral relations,” Viorica Dancila added.

PM Dancila paid visits to Turkey, UAE and Kuwait at the middle of October.
