PM: Romania to Host State-of-the-Art Ammunition Powder Factory

Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu announced that Romania will have the most modern ammunition powder factory, in which the European Union will also be a partner. The Head of the Executive was asked, in a broadcast on Digi 24, whether or not Romania can produce NATO-type ammunition.

“Next Monday or Tuesday – the European Commission will make the announcement, because we have a joint project – it will be the most modern powder factory in Romania. An investment of almost 400 million euros and the European Commission is also coming to this investment with 47 million euros. There are several contracts currently underway,” said the prime minister.

Marcel Ciolacu showed that Romania makes NATO ammunition and is ready for this.

He reiterated the assurances that our country will not be attacked by the Russian Federation.

“Romania is a member of NATO. We have thousands of soldiers sent to the territory of Romania, like the host country, we have a French command, French coordination on the territory of Romania, there are also soldiers from almost all European states.
