PNL intends to file censure motion against Ponta Gov’t on Monday, sources say

The Liberals intend to file, at the beginning of next week, a censure motion against the Ponta government. Talks in this regard were held on Friday, at Poiana Brasov (central Romania) during the PNL’s National Directory Body.
Sources say PNL is going to file a censure motion in parliament on Monday.
The last censure motion filed by PNL against the Ponta government was debated on June 12. The motion was rejected by 194 votes for, as compared to 278 votes needed. Thirteen votes were cast against and 7 votes were void.
PSD interim president Liviu Dragnea said on Friday that a likely censure motion filed by PNL stands no chance to be voted. “It’s not a censure motion filed by PNL that could oust Victor Ponta from the government,” he said.
